SIUT North America’s Houston Gala Raises Over $1 Million for SIUT Pakistan

On November 3, 2023, SIUT North America hosted a successful Fundraising Gala in Houston, Texas, attended by more than 500 people, including community leaders, doctors, businessmen, professionals, and followers of Dr. Adibul Hasan Rizvi. The gala featured renowned Pakistani TV personality Mr. Anwar Maqsood as the Special Guest and talented actress Sajal Aly.

S. Javaid Anwar, a well-known Pakistani American philanthropist, businessman, and CEO of Midland Energy, served as the Chief Guest. The program commenced with a recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the national anthems of both countries and a special video message from Dr. Adib Rizvi. Mr. Meraj Nazar, President of SIUTNA, delivered the welcome address, expressing gratitude to the special guests and attendees. He also outlined the financial transparency maintained by SIUTNA and briefly highlighted its history and role in supporting SIUT Pakistan.

The audience enjoyed performances by their favorite artist, poet, and writer, Mr. Anwar Maqsood, who paid tribute to Dr. Adib Rizvi and entertained with his humor, satire, and comedy. The evening highlighted the remarkable generosity of Houston community, resulting in a collection of more than $1million being collected for SIUT Pakistan.
