International Visitors at SIUT Pakistan

Sudanese Medical Team & WHO representatives Visit SIUT Pakistan

A seven member medical team from Sudan Medical Board visited SIUT. They were accompanied by two officials of WHO, the World Health Organization. Such visits reflect strong interest of medical communities around the world who want to understand the unique SIUT model of providing free quality health care to such a large number of patients. SIUT treated over 1.7 million patients last year.

Briefing the visiting team, Professor Adib Rizvi, Director SIUT, highlighted the services being provided to his patients. He pointed out that all the facilities are provided to the patients with dignity and without any cost. Professor Rizvi also apprised them about the development projects of SIUT.

The visiting team lauded the philosophy of the Institute and greatly appreciated the services which are rendered to the patients. It was agreed that a team of doctors from Sudan will soon be sent for training purposes to SIUT.
Later the Sudanese team went round the various sections of the Institute.

Journalists from Bangladesh visits SIUT, Pakistan

Karachi: A ten-member goodwill media delegation from Bangladesh paid a visit to SIUT.

They called on the Director of SIUT Prof Adib Rizvi who explained the visiting journalists about the working of the Institute and informed them that all the treatment that is provided at the hospital is free of cost and extended to all the segments of the society without any discrimination.

The members delegation greatly lauded the working of SIUT and commended the facilities which are provided to the patients.
