SIUT North America Launches First “Serving Beyond” Campaign

SIUT North America has launched its first “Serving Beyond” campaign, intended to reach a broader section of the American population, to spread the word about SIUT, share the unique SIUT model to help others, and to seek their support. Our traditional campaigns have been focused on the Pakistani diaspora in the US, and this initiative is first of the many to come.

The first campaign, called GivingTuesday is a global giving movement that has been built by individuals, families, organizations, businesses and communities in all 50 states and in countries around the world. This year, GivingTuesday falls on November 28. GivingTuesday harnesses the collective power of a unique blend of partners to transform how people think about, talk about, and participate in the giving season. It inspires people to take collective action to improve their communities, give back in better, smarter ways to the charities and causes they believe in, and help create a better world. GivingTuesday demonstrates how every act of generosity counts, and that they mean even more when we give together.

This year, the GivingTuesday campaign is scheduled for November 28. Facebook and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation are matching up to $2 million of funds raised on Facebook for U.S. nonprofits.

The SIUTNA flyer designed for GivingTuesday is attached for your information. The email campaign is strongly supported through SIUTNA Facebook posts. Please check out the SIUTNA page on FB.

SIUTNA plans to launch a series of test campaigns to evaluate the effectiveness of these campaigns, so the future campaigns can be designed in the most effective way possible.
