A team of SIUT doctors attended the 41st Annual Convention of APPNA in Dallas, Texas. APPNA is the Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent in North America. Over 3000 participated from all over the USA and the program included professional activities, alumni get togethers, as well as entertainment and literary programs. Visitors included Pakistan  Ambassador in USA, Mr Ali Jehangir Siddiqui and Pakistani celebrities like Mr. Zia Mohyeddin.

The SIUT team was led by Dr Altaf Hashmi and joined by Mr S Meraj Nazar and Mr Rizwan Mumtaz of SIUT North America.   The Convention was a great opportunity to network with the Pakistani medical community in the USA and to update them on the SIUT activities in Pakistan and in USA.
